Owners of PIP in Peoria and Normal Named Franchisee of the Year
Mission Viejo, Calif., Aug. 1, 2023 – PIP Marketing, Signs, Print in Peoria and Normal, Illinois, was named “Franchisee of the Year” by Franchise Services Inc., parent company of PIP. Chris Cochran and Shane Parker are the business owners. The franchise network’s most prestigious award was presented during the annual PIP Convention and Vendor Show, July 12-15, in Kansas City.
Cochran and Parker were recognized for being successful and supportive members of the PIP network. In honoring the business partners, FSI President and COO Richard Lowe called them “industry leaders” and “great ambassadors of the PIP brand.” Their PIP business is a three-time winner of the Franchisee of the Year award, having also been recognized with the top award in 1994, 2010 and, again, in 2023.
PIP in Peoria was started in 1978 and later opened a second location in Normal. The business has been a perennial leader in sales and operations since its inception. In addition to this honor, Cochran and Parker were also recognized as a top center in sales volume, ranking #4 within the PIP network and #7 among Top 25 centers in the combined PIP and Sir Speedy network.
Lowe praised PIP in Peoria and Normal for their innovative practices in delivering print, signs and marketing services. “Their team is known network wide for their creativity and ability to deliver on really challenging projects.”
